Increasing transparency between the board members and community with public access to documents and exhibits discussed at board meetings, posting board meeting minutes within 48 hours after a meeting, and publishing the school district’s monthly fiscal report.

Emphasizing excellence in academia, the fine arts, after-school programs and athletics through program development and expansion and by supporting local levies while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Retaining and recruiting effective and accomplished staff and faculty by participating in negotiations for fair contracts, creating consistent hiring policies, and expanding staff development.

Reviving and nurturing the relationships between the community members, the board, and the school staff and administration by acknowledging concerns with timely and considerate responsiveness.
